Dr. Aminu Muhammad Bashir is a Project Management & Quantity Surveying professional with over 20 years of experience in private practice and 10 years of teaching experience in Higher Institutions of Learning. He obtained his B.Sc. (Quantity Surveying), M.Sc. (Project Management), and Ph.D. (Quantity Surveying) from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a registered member of various professional bodies including the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, and Association of Project Management, UK. With requisite academic and professional credentials and as a Managing Partner, Mobat Quants Consultants, he participated and led the delivery of numerous projects to Client’s satisfaction over the past decades. Dr. Aminu actively participated in the development of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Kano State Chapter as Secretary General, Deputy Chairman and Chairman (2007 – 2017); Secretary, International Affairs, NIQS, Abuja (2017-2019); Secretary General, NIQS, Abuja (2019-2021). Passionate about imparting knowledge, he also serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Quantity Surveying, Bayero University, Kano and also trains young professionals of contracting organisations in the practice of Construction Contracts Administration and Project Management. Dr Aminu Muhammad Bashir is currently the Deputy President of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Abuja.
