QS Bede Nnanna Ejiekwu was born to the family of Late Elder Flavian Uwunnakwe and Late Mrs Justina Ayonwa Ejiekwu of Umuolokoro Ihuoba Obudi Agwa in Oguta L.G.A of Imo State on 11th June 1970.
He started his early education at Central School Obudi Agwa where he obtained his first school leaving certificate in 1982.
He gained admission into the prestigious Trinity High School Oguta in 1983 and later proceeded to Government Technical College, Owerri in 1985 where he obtained his WAEC Certificate in 1988.
Q.S Bede Ejiekwu obtained HND (QS) from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu in 1997. He had his PGD in Project Management from Imo State University Owerri in 2010 and proceeded to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where he had his Masters in Facilities Management (MFM) in 2016.
Q.S Bede Ejiekwu passed his TPC examination in 2004 and was inducted into MNIQS in 2010. He was registered with Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria QSRBN in 2011.
He attended various professional trainings, conferences, seminars and workshops organized by local and foreign bodies, such as the Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria QSRBN, International Facilities Management Association IFMA, Project Management Institute, e.t.c and obtained various certifications thereto.
Q.S Bede Ejiekwu started his professional career with Multi Associates (A Firm of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers) in 1998 as Assistant Resident Quantity Surveyor/Corper at Plot 08, Prototype, Federal Secretariat Building, Phase III, Abuja. He later joined D&B Ltd (A Design and Build Company) based in Abuja. While in the employment of D&B Ltd he became the Chief Quantity Surveyor and was later promoted to head of Project Monitoring/Evaluation Department, he rose to a management staff status before leaving the company in 2011 to establish his own consultancy firm BEQUANT-Q CONSULTS (a firm of Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Procurement Economists). The firm had offered and still offering consultancy services in cost, procurement and project management services to diverse clients in both private and public sectors of the Economy.
QS Bede Ejiekwu has served the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors FCT Chapter/National in various levels and times.
