Fatima Muhammad Bello earned her BSc (Hons), MSc and a PhD in Quantity surveying from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She began her career at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria as a lecturer in 2010, she later moved to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria as an Assistant Lecturer in May 2011, eventually rising to the rank of Senior Lecturer in 2022. Over the years, she has taught and examined numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses, overseeing the research endeavours of BSc and MSc research candidates. Dr. Fatima’s scholarly contributions extend to publications in globally reputable academic journals and refereed conference proceedings. Her research interests are in Construction Economics, Gender studies and Human Behaviour, with specific focus on Emotional Intelligence.

In addition to her academic experience, Dr. Fatima has acquired administrative experience, having actively participated in various statutory and ad hoc committees of the University. She is a corporate member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and duly registered with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN). Complementing her academic and administrative roles, she has furthered her professional development by attending numerous local and international conferences, workshops and skills enhancement trainings.
