Q.S Mafimidiwo, Bamidele Adeniyi is from Ogun State, Nigeria. He attended the then University of Ife, Ile Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife) for his B.Sc. Degree in Quantity Surveying and graduated in 1986. He went to the University of Lagos, Akoka for his M.Sc. Degree in Construction Management and completed the program in 1989. He is currently running M.Phil./Ph.D. degree at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.

He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNIQS) and a Registered Quantity Surveyor by the Quantity Surveyors Registration board of Nigeria (QSRBN) since 1990. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM), a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN) and a Fellow, Society for Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Mitigation (SEPTOM, FEnv) and a member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors UK (MRICS).

As a member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors; he has held several positions in the Senate of the Lagos State Chapter of the Institute which include Deputy Chairman and Chairman. He is currently the National Vice President of Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS).

Q.S Mafimidiwo B.A. has served on several Education committees for the NIQS, QSRBN and African Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS). He was the Secretary Education Committee of the NIQS from 2006 to 2008. He is also a member of accreditation committee of NIQS and Nigeria Board of Technical Education (NBTE) from 2002 to date.

Q.S B. A Mafimidiwo joined the service of Yaba College of Technology in the year 1987 as Lecturer III and rose to the position of Chief Lecturer in 2011. He was the Head of Department of Quantity Surveying, Yaba College of Technology from 2000 to 2007. During his tenure, the Department was able to secure full accreditation of all courses offered in the Department from NBTE whilst also obtaining one hundred percent (100%) promotion for all the staff of the Department.

He was appointed the Director of Physical Planning Unit of Yaba College of Technology in January, 2010 and held the position till February, 2015. During his tenure as Director Physical Planning Unit, the College witnessed tremendous infrastructural development. Several projects were conceived, planned and executed while all hitherto abandoned projects in the College were completed and put into use.

Thereafter, he was appointed the Director of Epe Campus of Yaba College of Technology in August, 2015 to help oversee and administer the campus. This position he held till May 2018.

He is the Managing Partner, BAM Associates; a Quantity Surveying, Cost and Project Management Consultancy firm for over three decades and a Director, Gessalf Nigeria Company Limited, an indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Construction (EPIC) Company. These Companies have executed a lot of landmark projects in Nigeria.

Q.S B. A. Mafimidiwo is a man of many parts. He has attended several seminars, conferences and workshops both locally and Internationally and has presented papers at some of them. He has also published over (12) academic articles in both Local and International journals. He has to his credit some chapter contributions in some published books. He is a devoted Christian.

In the home front, Q.S Bamidele Adeniyi Mafimidiwo is happily married to his wonderful, beautiful and amiable wife, Dr. Engr. Mrs. Olufunmilayo Alice Mafimidiwo. To the Glory of God, the marriage is blessed with wonderful, God-fearing and promising children and a granddaughter.
