QS Professor Kulomri Jipato Adogbo is a distinguished academic, registered Quantity Surveyor, and seasoned institutional leader with over two decades of professional, academic, and research experience in the built environment. She is a Professor of Quantity Surveying at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
Her educational journey began at Sunnyday Primary School, Kano (1987) and Federal Government Girls College, Bauchi (1993). She proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where she earned a BSc in Quantity Surveying (2001), MSc in Construction Management (2006), and PhD in Quantity Surveying (2013).
Professor Adogbo joined the academic staff of Ahmadu Bello University in April 2007 and rose through the ranks to become Professor of Quantity Surveying in October 2016 – a historic milestone as the first female Professor of Quantity Surveying produced by Ahmadu Bello University and the first in Northern Nigeria.
Professor Adogbo is a Registered Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS). She is also a member of the Women Association of Quantity Surveyors of Nigeria (WAQSN) and the Association of Quantity Surveying Lecturers and Educators (AQSLE). She has served as a resource person at numerous conferences, workshops, and professional development programmes organised by NIQS, QSRBN, and WAQSN. She also served on the Executive Committee of WAQSN (2013–2019) and on several committees of the NIQS.
Professor Adogbo is widely respected for her commitment to professional excellence, mentorship, and advancing the quantity surveying profession through education, research, and institutional service.
