BIO

Gengle A. Garba is a seasoned Nigerian professional with extensive experience in quantity surveying and business administration. Born on January 13, 1962, in Nigeria, he pursued his early education at Yelwa Government Secondary School in Yola, where he obtained his West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1980. He furthered his studies at the College of Preliminary Studies, Yola, earning his A-Level qualifications in 1982.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he graduated in 1986. He also possesses advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Master’s in International Affairs and Diplomacy (MIAD) from the same university.

Professionally, he has amassed a wealth of experience. He began his career with Socon Quantity Surveyors in Owerri (1986-1987) and Cosmos Construction Co. in Owerri (1987-1988) before becoming the Managing Director of Associated Cost Consultants (ACC), a position he has held since 1988. His expertise has also been recognized in academia, where he served as an External Examiner at Kaduna Polytechnic from 2000 to 2005.

His contributions to the field are marked by his involvement in major projects such as the Former AIB Headquarters in Lagos, the NPA Headquarters (now Ministry of Defence) in Abuja, the New EFCC Headquarters in Jabi, Abuja, and the Defunct PTF office in Abuja. He is a member and fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MNIQS, FNIQS) and has served as the Assistant Secretary General of the NIQS from 2009 to 2010.
